Marco's property is a gem, and every part of our stay was perfect. The on-property-host, Sunny, went above and beyond, and yet was in no way intrusive. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and tended. The pool was very clean. The home felt attentively and sumptuously appointed, and was difficult to leave. There are original modern paintings and photographs throughout. Everything was clean and sparkling, the beds were excellent, the a/c worked perfectly, and the kitchen was completely equipped (we made dinner there for 6 and there was not a single piece of equipment missing or out of place.) In addition, the property is very close to the train station, an easy 25 minutes into Rome by train. The town is charming and has an incredible restaurant where we were also welcomed as family. In sum, this felt like staying in an excellent hotel-quality resort, but with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We were with 3 generations and we all want to go back and visit absolutely as possible! The house is a little difficult to find but once you're there you forget about that. Our group of six stayed here for 5 nights in June and the property and house is amazing. It's a little difficult to find, but you have a view of the hills surrounded by trees and lush landscaping. It's quiet and serene, really like being in the country--we regularly heard a peacock, roosters and a donkey. The house is expansive and has three levels. It is casually but well decorated and feels like a home. There are several places outdoors to sit and relax--on the patio, by the pool, at the outdoor kitchen. There is a property manager/caretaker who lives on the premises and is there should you need anything, which was very helpful. There is a separate apartment away from the main house that we also use
